The curriculum
Four foundations. One connected Jewish life.
Every lesson meets each child where they are: a lighter path for beginners, a deeper one for children ready to push further. They don’t just learn about Jewish life — they read it, pray it, and do it, until it’s theirs.
| Foundation | What they study | Your child will be able to |
|---|---|---|
| 01 · Weekly parashaTorah | The week’s parasha, in the order it is read, from Bereshit to Vezot Haberakha — aliya summaries, practice pesukim (verses) with Rashi, maps, and riddles, straight from the Ḥumash. | Find any pasuk by book, parasha, and chapter. Put a parasha’s events in order. Explain the practice pesukim and tell Torah text from commentary. |
| 02 · ProphetsNavi | The conquest under Yehoshua, judges and kings, through the exile, then the Twelve Prophets with Megillat Esther and Ruth — from the original text, with maps and timelines. Most haftarot come from here. | Back up a claim with a pasuk. Place events on a map and timeline. Explain what a leader’s choices show about courage and faith. |
| 03 · Psalms & prayerTehillim | Foundational psalms, studied chapter by chapter for what they say and where they appear in tefilla — Kabbalat Shabbat, Hallel, Pesukei DeZimra, Shir Shel Yom, Shir HaMa’alot. | Follow the Hebrew and sing along with the audio. Know what each psalm means, not just recite it. Recognize it in tefilla. |
| 04 · MitzvotMishna | Mishnayot timed to the Jewish calendar — Rosh Has |
